Snow Day

We have had every intention of getting to the snow this year... and the sun is shining brightly so we didn't think snow would be around for much longer so... A week ago, Jesse took the day off and we headed to the snow.  Thanks to Margie who took Riley so we could focus on Jed!  It was so much fun to just get away and see Jed smile... a lot!

We found a rather small patch of snow where Jed could get some good sledding done.

I even got in on the action!
 Snow ball fight!

We love this boy so much.  It was such a special day to enjoy with Jed!

Riley Renee's Dedication

This past week we had the pleasure of dedicating our sweet little girl.  The dedication is nothing more than a commitment to raise Riley in a God-fraring home... and do our best to encourage her to know Him.  Instead of attending a church service and focusing on Riley for 5 minutes, we decided to have Jesse's dad dedicate her.

I made some quiches.  They turned out yummy...
 And some parfaits.

 My Parents

Ashley Melikian... a great friend of mine from high school.

Chelsey, Luke and Becca... great influences in Riley's life.
Auntie Cherie, Oma, Auntie Christy and Chelsey
 Charity, Grace and Lily

 Uncle Blake and Chelsey
 Another great friend Emmy.
And the birthday girl... thanks for sharing your birthday with Riley's celebration!

These two (Aubrey and Christopher) ... they love each other so much!

 Pure chaos!

The meaning of Riley Renee is courageous and reborn.
Both sets of grandparents, Jesse and I got to pray a special prayer over Riley.  It was so meaningful!

And, the cousins... if only you could have seen the other pictures (believe it or not, this is the best shot...at least you can see everyone's heads!)

Happy Birthday Aubrey and Austin

My niece and nephew had the sweetest little birthday party ever!  In their very nature, Austin is a cowboy and Aubrey is a cowgirl.  It's sooo cute!  Their grandparents live on some land and have horses.  So, the kids got to ride and enjoy the beautiful March weather.

Austin is so sweet... always showing off to the camera!

And the beautiful Aubrey Rose.  looking stunning in her pink hat and matching boots.  Jed was the sheriff in town.

"There's only room for one sheriff in this town!"

They had a cute child-sized table in the barn area with fun lunch boxes.

Riley and me.

A sweet family.

 Getting ready for some cake.

(I had to post this one... caught in the act!)
