One week old...

Born a Fresno State Bulldog!

Jedidiah was always destined to be a Bulldog fan. I grew up at Fresno State basketball and football games because my dad helps out with the athletic program... I cheered there... and both Jesse and I went there. A while back Jesse's mom was going through her boxes and she found a Fresno State sweat outfit that was Jesse's when he was a little boy. It fits Jed right now so perfectly and looks extremely comfortable!

If he could talk, I think he would say... mommy and daddy, milk, my family, cooing, my paci, my A.D.D. toy, bath time!!!, walks, and sleeping!

Carmel

We are enjoying a weekend away with our awesome friends, the Cadieuxs and Feils. We have two babies under 4 months of age... so it has been interesting. To top it off, Jed has had a cold... so he has been a bit fussy and anyone who has been to our house knows that it isn't exactly sound proof! It was such a beautiful day, we walked along the beach, it must have been 75 out and the waves were gorgeous! Andrew and Breann decided to surf. Both reported that it was COLD and that the waves were stronger then they looked. If you remember back, Breann is the friend who broke her ankle in Costa Rica... so this was the first time she got in the water since that day (she said she had a bit of anxiety)... Jed enjoyed the beach by taking a nap the entire walk.

Breann just had to put Emry into her bathing suit... it was sooo cute!

Christmas with the Penners

Christmas was a busy day for us. We were at the Hansons for the entire day but we couldn't bear the thought of not seeing the Penners on Christmas day so... we decided to pop by around 8:30... and what do you know... Cherie, Blake and Aubrey Rose were right behind us! It was so great to see everyone even if it were for only a short amount of time. Christy and Aaron stayed at HP and Margie's so it was the entire family! Christy and Aaron got Jed an AWESOME shirt that says Jedi Knight... it is absolutely adorable and Blake really loves it (he calls Jedidiah "Jedi"). Christy also got Aubrey an pink umbrella because that is exactly what Aubrey asked for. It was fun watching Aubrey's face light up! It was such a great morning!

Oma and Opa got Aubrey and Jed a cool tricycle to play with at their house... Aubrey loved it and I am sure Jed will one day very soon!

Christmas with the Hansons

This year we spent Christmas day at my parents house with my dad's side of the family... his parents, two brothers, their wives and 2 kids each. It is always so great to see everyone, share stories and watch people grow up! We now have residents in Boston, New York, San Diego, Los Angeles and Fresno... we are so spread out! My parents do such a great job hosting everyone... lots of food, great activities and so many new memories!

We always get matching PJs... this year it was so cute to see Jed in his little outfit... he blended in with me!

Jed is getting so big! Since his hospital stay at one week of age where he weighed 6lb he has gained 3lb! He feels like a different boy! His cheeks are full and his belly is bulging.
