- "No"... in the sweetest voice, whether he means yes or no, it is always "no".
- Paci is gone and "banket" is your new favorite... he carries it after every nap and wants to snuggle with mr. "banket".
- POOL!!! loves big pool, little pool and mini pool... He will lay down on his back and whip his legs up and down.
- "Ouside" is one of his favorite places, whether front yard or the back yard, he loves exploring, tasting rocks (despite mommy's dissatisfaction), throwing golf balls, scooping water, asking for the "hos" (hose), eating a "nack" at his table, climbing on the rocking chairs, pointing out dog "poopos" (yes, dog poop!), or anything else, he LOVES "ouside!
- Cars! Jed has a need for speed... at both Oma and D's houses, he has a car that he rips around the corners with ease, he has such good control... imagine his little Fred Flinstone feet going fast fast fast!!! He also loves to drive his bike around.
- "waking" "waking"... Jed loves to go for walks. Mostly because he gets to carry Jazzie's leash. Oma and Auntie She She take Jed, Austin and Aubrey for a walk to drop Aubrey off at school most Tuesdays and Thursdays... he is usually silent but takes it all in!
- "Mommy... Mommy...Mommy...Mommy...Mommy"... we are so into mommy. I know in 15 years I will look back on these times and with my 16 year old was saying "Mommy" again...
- We are not quite sure about church yet... Jed cries every time we leave him and lately, has not lasted through service without us being called out. We are working soooo hard on this!
- "book"... in Jed's new room, we created a library where he can pull down books off a shelf and read them. His favorites are "moon" (Goodnight Moon) and "Beep Beep" (Little Blue Truck). (Every boy should have the book "Little Blue Truck")
- "too, tree... GO"... Jed likes to jump off of high things (thank you daddy). He counts "too, tree...GO" and proceeds. His favorite is the slide onto the couch, but he is not picky.
- Jed LOVES his cousins "Abree" and "Atiiinnn" (Aubrey and Austin). If we drive by their house, he says their names (amazing what they pick up)... if he sees them, he runs and screams "Abree... ATTTIIIIINNNNNN!!!!" He also has a way with "Atiiinnn" if Jed is frustrated where he will yell, "ATTTIIIINNNNNN!!!"... we have to laugh and let them figure it out, it is pretty cute!
- "Beep, Beep"is one of Jed's (and mommy's) favorite times. I allow him to play in my car often, all by himself. He asks for "beep beep" when we pull into any driveway or destination, I will either say, "not now" or "sure"... if I say "sure"... his eyes light up, and he kicks his legs... then I get him out of his car seat and put him in the front seat, shut the door and we blow kisses at each other. Then, it is as if he is controlling Air-force 1... he becomes very focused, turning every knob, pushing buttons, steering, turning on the caution lights, open, shut... he without pausing moves for 20 minutes or until I stop him... (it is great for unloading groceries and putting them away in the kitchen... I just leave the door to the garage open!)
- "Onk Onk"... Jed loves to honk our noses... he just walks up and greets us with a pinch...
- "Zesus"... possibly my favorite, Jed loves it when I sing to him "Jesus Loves Me..." So, whenever he is sick or needs comfort or wants to stay up a little bit longer, he says "Zesus" and I sing...
These are just a few of my favorite memories/moments with Jed... now recorded for the ages!
