Hanson Easter Fun

Over Christmas, we were unable to be with the entire Hanson family... but, we were able to come together for Easter and it was a blast!  My dad's middle brother Mark, Jean (his wife) and Caitlin came on Thursday.  I told Jed that Uncle Mark was a ton of fun... so when we got to my parents house, Jed walked up to him and gave him a smirk and growled like a bear.  It was so cute!

Riley and Grandpa have a special bond.  I love watching him watch and interact with her.
Grandpa is known for his large feet... size 15 to be exact.
The weather has been fantastic.  We got to sit outside and enjoy the sun!
 Lolo arrived!
Jed loves auntie Lolo!  He always asks, "Where's Auntie Lolo?"
Every April when Mark comes, he trims their Japanese Maple trees.  Patience.  Precision.
These girls got the pretty eyes in this family...
 Everyone biting their phones.
 My beautiful sister.
We took a trip to the Zoo.  It was super fun.  Jed loves wandering around and the last time most of the family had been to the Zoo was 22 years ago!
Lauren, Caitlin and I (before anyone else was born) have a picture in front of this elephant arch.  We fit in it standing up... we have grown a little bit!

After the Zoo we enjoyed a picnic in Roding Park.

After the park we colored easter eggs at our house and made some yummy pizzas!
Caitlin and Jean.  Caitlin lives in NYC!!! We are planning a girls trip to visit her.

Gordon (the youngest boy) and his family Caty, Thea (right) and Carly live in San Diego.

A classic picture.  Jean's birthday is on March 31st.  My grandma's birthday is TODAY!!!  We were all watching grandma open presents.

And posing for a family picture always can be goofy... but we got it!

Daniel popped in late Saturday night and Sunday from Los Angeles.  It was so great to see him!

All the grandchildren and great grandchildren!
Then it was time to hunt for Easter eggs.  Jed was surprisingly uninterested... he wanted the animal crackers that were inside the eggs.

Grandma and Grandpa with Gordon watching the action.
We got to play a game of Settlers of Catan... it was an epic game.  Way to go Thea for winning!

Thanks everyone for making such a great effort to be together... airplane flights, horrid traffic, finals studying... but, hopefully it was all worth it to see each other!  We had a blast and created great memories!
