So, while we were in Carmel, we decided to make what I call Bookies. This is a combination of cookies and brownies. It's been done many times, however, this was my first. It was really good!!! What I did was take brownie mix (out of a box), mixed that up and put it into a greased pan and then made home made chocolate chip cookie mix (follow the back of a Nestles chocolate chip bag... and don't add extra flower). It was so delicious, it felt more like a cake then cookies or brownies.
Eventually we warmed them up in the microwave and put some vanilla ice cream over them! Great for entertaining!
